Wooster City School District Parents and Families:

Good afternoon, attached at the bottom of this page is the Wooster City Schools Covid-19 Educational Recovery Plan that includes a letter from Mr. Tudor, Superintendent of Wooster City Schools, and information regarding our online learning option.  Please use the link below if you intend to register your child for the online learning academy.  The deadline for registration is Thursday, August 12th at 11:59 p.m.  If you do not choose to have your child enrolled in the online academy you do not need to fill out the form, and we will plan on your child attending in-person, five days a week.  If you have any trouble completing the online form please contact your building principal for assistance.

In addition, the school board has elected to hear public participation at the upcoming work session scheduled for Monday, August 16th at 7:00.  The board announcement and information on how to submit public comment is below.  
 Although the Wooster City School District Board of Education does not typically include public comment at its work sessions, the Board will make a one-time exception to this practice and accept public comment on COVID mitigation measures during its August 16th work session subject to Board Policy 0169.1 and the following procedures:

·         The Board will allot 20 minutes total for public comment;

·         Each individual commenter will have up to 2 minutes to speak;

·         Each commenter must submit written documentation of their question or comment prior to the meeting by submitting a completed form available on the district website at the following link, Public Participation Form, by 5 p.m. on August 13th;

·         The first 5 individuals who submit participant forms in opposition to the Board’s announced mitigation procedures, and the first 5 individuals who submit participant forms in favor of the Board’s announced mitigation procedures, will participate in the public comment portion of the meeting; and

·         Public participation will occur via live Zoom conference.


The Board retains all other rights as set forth in Policy 0169.1.
