Mr. Stefanik has served the Wooster City School District for 21 years.

Mr. Stefanik was born and raised in Parma, Ohio and graduated from the Parma City School District. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Ohio State University and a Master of Science in Education from Old Dominion University.  Mr. Stefanik also completed graduate coursework required for a superintendent’s license from Ashland University.
 

As a teacher, Mr. Stefanik taught reading, math and science in grades 4-6.  He is a firm believer in constructing a learning environment that actively involves the students in the learning process.
 

Administratively, he has served as an elementary principal, an alternative school principal (middle school/high school), a preschool director, and Director of Educational Services.  Mr. Stefanik strives to provide educational experiences for students that will enhance student achievement.
 

Mr. Stefanik lives in Wooster with his wife, Carolyn, and their two pets, Penny (a 4 year old German Shepherd) and Bailey, “The Big Man” (a 10 year old Maine Coon cat).
