MLK Essay Contest - Students Can Get Started This Summer!

The Wooster-Orrville NAACP sponsors an annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Essay Contest where students all over Wayne County can learn and write about the impact of Dr. King's life.

All students in Wayne County in grades 1-12 have the opportunity to submit their written responses to a series of grade-banded essay prompts to be evaluated by the committee and potentially awarded a prize! Wooster City Schools will provide specific support to students in the grade bands/courses where the prompts align with the curriculum.
