Glara Lee, Wil Gastier, and Grant Foskett will be competing at the state Power of the Pen tournament at the College of Wooster on May 24.
All three are 8th graders. Good luck!

The Wayne County Community Foundation has a scholarship booklet available to all WHS Seniors; It is attached.
Attendance Procedures
If your child(ren) will be absent from school, please contact the WHS attendance office at 330-988-1111 ext. 3011 prior to 9:00am. Please leave the date, name of the student, & reason for absence. The attendance line is available 24 hours per day. We try our best to have the most accurate records that we can, so we are hoping that you can help out with this.
WHS Academic Challenge Team Wins--Televised Date Update!
Congratulations to the Wooster High School Academic Challenge Team for winning the competition against Highland High School and Maple Heights High School on the WEWS Academic Challenge TV show. The team consists of Lyle Whited, Stephen Dade, Henry Liu, Jared Casserly and Brooke Courtemanche. The advisor is Mr. Mark Kister. The program will air Saturday, April 20th, at 7:00 p.m. on channel 5.
2011-12 Yearbooks are in!
The 2011-12 yearbooks have arrived. If you are a graduate of the Class of 2012 or the parent of a graduate of the Class of 2012, the yearbook can be picked up in the main office of Wooster High School Monday-Friday, between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. If you have a balance due, payment is due at the time you pick it up.
SAT and ACT Practice Tests Available Online
The ACT and SAT test times are fast approaching. To help students prepare, you can send them to INFOhio’s Learning Express Library for free practice tests, not only for the ACT and SAT, but also for many advanced placement tests.
National Guardian Insurance Policies are Available for Students
An insurance policy for students is available from the National Guardian Life Insurance Company.
Generals Items for Sale
We have Cat's Meow items for sale. We have a high school building for $13.00 and the General for $9.00. These can be purchased during regular office hours at the main office of the high school.
