There will be a Mathcounts meeting in Mrs. Frantz's room on Monday, at Edgewood Middle School, until 4:00.


Barbizon Modeling Agency will be here, during lunches, on Monday to discuss scholarship sweepstakes to those interested.  This is open to all, not just seniors.  Stop by their table in lunchroom for further details.


If you were nominated as a potential candidate for Buckeye Girls State this year, there will be a short meeting after school Monday, Jan 22nd in Mrs. Arnold's room.  If you are unable to attend the meeting but are still interested, see Mrs. Arnold some time this week. 


All Drug Free Club Members, please stop by the DFCA table to get a free slice of pizza during your lunch period, and your drug free card, if you have not already picked yours up.

Holly Miller, 2nd in the 100 free and 3rd in the 50 free

Patrick Parker 2nd in the 500 

Ben Serafinchon 3rd in the 500

Kyle Ward 3rd in the 100 back

Audrey Cochran:   3rd in 100 breaststroke

Tyler Foster:  OCC Champion 50 free, 3rd in the 100 free

Thomas Matthew OCC Champion in the 200 free and 100 free, setting  OCC records in both events and earning Swimmer of the Year.

Ward, Matthew, Foster and Andrew Cochran were 200 free relay Champions, and Ward, Matthew , Foster, and Parker Suggs were 400 free relay Champions.

Tim Fritts, Cam Balas, Parker Suggs and Jaden Bocher were 3rd in the Medley Relay

Kim, Audrey Cochran, murphy and Julia Hootman were 2nd in the Medley Relay,

Hootman, Michelle Sibilia, Emma LoGuidice, and Miller were 2nd in the 200 free relay and Chloe Boucher, Sibilia, Miller, and Murphy were 2nd in the 400 free relay.

Congratulations to ALL of the athletes for their amazing swims most achieving life time personal bests.  Go Woo


Seniors:  A list of senior photos we HAVE received is posted outside of Mr. Hiner's room (C216). This list will be updated at the end of every day, through next week.  If you have submitted a photo, please check this list to verify you are on it.  Thanks!


The Winter Formal is planned for Saturday, January 27th from 8-11 p.m. for grades 9 to 12, in the Wooster High School commons. It will be $10 per person and $15 per couple. Tickets will be sold at the door and out of School Permission forms are in the office. Hope to see you there!


We will be offering an ACT Prep Class in preparation for the spring ACT dates.  This class will begin on February 13 – March 15.  Attendees may choose Tuesday or Thursday evening classes.  Class cost is $75.00, which includes course fee and the Official ACT Prep Guide.  Please register on-line on our webpage.  Payment must be received by February 9. Sophomores interested in attending the WCSCC for next year, please turn in your enrollment papers no later than January 19. 


The Knights of Columbus, Wooster Council #789 will sponsor their annual Youth Free Throw Championship on Sunday January 28, 2018 in the St. Mary school gymnasium (527 Beall Avenue, Wooster).  All boys and girls ages 9 -14 are invited to participate in the competition.  Registration begins at 1:00. Competition to follow @ 1:30 till completion. The Knights of Columbus Youth Free Throw Championship is sponsored annually, with local winners advancing to district, regional, and state competitions.  Each contestant receives three warm up tosses followed by 15 consecutive free throw attempts from an age-designated foul line.  Winners of the local competition will advance to the district competition to be held on February 11, 2018 from 1:30 until completion in the St. Mary School gymnasium. Doors will open at 1:00.  All participants are required to furnish proof of age and written parental consent. Any additional information needed please contact Joe Stoll at (330) 260-0971.
