Students who plan to go to the Black Male Summit Academy Saturday you must see Mrs. Goff today during your AA!


Cosplay Club will be meeting on Monday, November 20th in Ms. Putka's room from 3-4. We'll be looking at props and tips and tricks for making them awesome. 



The Elit will be having a meeting on Thursday, November 16th, in Mr Greene's room, B164. We'll meet right after school at 3 o'clock and the meeting will go to 4:00. We're working on our first project which is on Cyber Security. See you there.


Improv Club will meet on Thursday, November 16 from 3:00 - 4:00 in Mrs. Broda's room.  All are welcome to join. See you there.


Permission slips were sent out to those who have signed up for the Ashland or Akron campus visits.  If you were not here or did not receive one, please come down to guidance TODAY to pick one up.  It needs to be returned as soon as possible.  You will not be permitted to go without one.


The recycling aluminum can drive for science club is still going! Each academic assist has until Friday to bring in their cans! The academic assist with the most cans will receive a pizza party.


There will be a Key Club meeting this Thursday after school.  It is not too late to become a member!  Old and new members will need to pay their $5 dues by the end of this week. 


Students you can win $200 by participating in the NAACP DR. Martin Luther King, Jr’s Essay contest.  Please see your school counselor for more details.


Attention all skiers and snowboarders:  The Alpine Discovery Program will be offering discount season passes to Snowtrails for the 2017-2018 season.  These are available to skiers/snowboarders with any age or experience level with lessons, rentals, snow tubing also available. See Mr. Melrose for applications and information.


Seniors, these are important announcements for you!

Class of 2018:  A list will be posted outside of the guidance office with your first, middle, and last name.  Please check the list during this time to ensure accuracy.  This is how your name will appear on your diploma in June.  If you have a concern or it is incorrect, see Mrs. Mills or call 330-345-4000, ext.  3400.


Is your college application deadline January 1?  If so, please note that you need to have all your application materials completed, recommendation letters requested, & transcripts requested by noon on December 7t  in Naviance.  Paperwork needs to be done by this date in order for the counselors to complete what they must do prior to break.  Anything submitted after this timeframe will be processed once the counselors return.  The guidance office is closed from December 22 – January 2.  Counselors are not required to check email over break, so please be don’t delay in getting the materials completed ON time.



Prism will be meeting after school from 3-4 in Ms. Putka's room, B149 on November 16th.
