The Class of 2020 is hosting a co-ed volleyball tournament on Friday, November 9th from 7-10pm. Get your teams together. Registration forms are available for collection during lunches in The Commons. All are welcome!


Improv Club will meet next Thursday, October 25 from 3:00-4:00 in Mrs. Broda's room. Hope to see you then.


There will be a NJHS meeting for all members and officers TODAY after school until 3:45 in the LGIR.  See you then!


Attention all 8th Grade Boys Basketball Players. Open gyms will begin on October 23rd, 25th, and 30th from 4:00-5:30pm at the Gault Recreation Center. Tryouts will be on November 5th from 4:30-6:30pm also at the Gault Recreation Center. 


8th grade girls Basketball will have Open Gym on Monday Oct 22nd and Wed. Oct 24th in the Gault from 3-4:30! TRYOUTS will be Friday Oct. 26th from 3-5 in the Gault, you MUST have a completed physical form turned in to the athletic office in order to tryout!


Lyric assignments for the senior Lip Dub performers are posted outside Mrs. Broda's room and shared with you in google drive. Please review your part prior to our first rehearsal on Thursday, October 18, TODAY at 8:00 pm in Mrs. Broda's room.


Attention ALL students! PLEASE sign the "Choose Respect" Banner in the Commons during lunch periods. We will hang this banner in the hallway at the end of the week. Let's all stand united against Bullying at Wooster High School! Thank you!


The International Women's Air & Space Museum will host a conference on Saturday, November 10, from 9:00am - 2:00pm, at Burke Lakefront Airport, to highlight careers in the STEM field for women. There will be speakers, demonstrations, & so much more. Applications may be picked up in guidance. All applications & $5.00 registration fee is due on Nov. 2. $5 will be returned upon check in. This is a great opportunity to network and get inspired. 


Attention Juniors and Seniors interested in visiting Kent State University, we will be taking a bus to visit campus on November 14. If you are interested sign up through Naviance or see Mrs.Gerber. 


The time is FINALLY here! Wooster will have its very own DRUG FREE CLUBS. 

This new club is called STAND! Stand Together Against Narcotics and Drugs

Membership into this club is ALL about the many awards you get each week for making healthy choices!STAND Applications will be at the STAND table in the commons and also in the main office starting on Monday October 22nd- December 1st. All students who turn in their signed application Before October 27th will receive a yummy halloween treat!


Any 8th grader in Geometry or Algebra II who is interested in joining the MathCounts club and competition – there will be a meeting at Edgewood on October 22 after school in room 303.  Any questions please contact Mrs. Sanders at Edgewood.


Attn Students:  Plan to participate in the 2019 Martin Luther King Essay contest sponsored by the Wooster/Orrville NAACP.  First place is $200, Second place is $175 and Third place is $150.  Pick up your essay information in guidance.  For more information see Mrs. Goff

If this question, or others like it, spark your brain and your desire for victory, you are ready to test your mental might against other challengers in our area! Please come to a quick informational meeting in the MLab, Room B164 next to the engineering room, after school tomorrow Thursday October 18th with Mr.Ruff to talk about the new season of Academic Challenge. If you are not able to attend, please stop by and see Mr.Ruff anytime during the day in Generals Academy or in the Engineering Room to let him know you are interested in being on the team. He is excited to get the new year of the Challenge going and needs team members who are interested in learning and representing Wooster in this awesome way!
