Brains & Brawn: 4th grade students will have their annual Brains and Brawn event on May 10th at Follis Field. If you are interested in volunteering, sign up here. Shifts can be full day (9:15-2:00), AM only (9:15-12:00), or PM only (11:45-2:00). Click here to begin the volunteer background check process.

Edgewood Music: 4th grade students recently previewed music class options for Edgewood Middle School. Please complete this form to help Edgewood music staff prepare for next year.

Swim Day: Our students are working hard to reach their goal and earn 100,000 blue and gold tallies! To celebrate reaching this goal, we are planning a Kean Swim Day on May 23rd. Each grade level will swim at the Gault for 45 minutes. Students are to wear their bathing suits to school and pack underwear, a towel, a water bottle, and a bag for wet items.

General of the Month Signs: If your child has been a General of the Month this school year (September through February) it is time to return your yard sign! We love celebrating our students each month and would love to be able to continue to have signs for our April and May Generals of the Month. We currently don't have enough to make it through the end of the school year and are counting on our past students to share with our current and future Generals of the Month. Thank you!

Lost and Found: Please encourage your child to check out our Lost and Found! We have several unclaimed items waiting to be taken home. Any items left at the conclusion at the school year will be donated.

Christmas Run Congestion: If you pick up your child from Kean as a walker and park your car along the Skylark/Christmas Run neighborhood, please be courteous and considerate of the residents of that neighborhood. Please do not block driveways and be mindful of congestion during drop-off and dismissal times. Safety is our number one priority. Thank you for your help.

Change in Dismissal Plans: If you ever need to change the dismissal plan for your child, please contact your child's teacher and Mrs. Schmid before 3:00 PM of that day. Any notifications to the school after 3:00 PM are not guaranteed to be reflected in that day's dismissal procedures.

Safety: To ensure the safety of our students and staff, please do not let others into the building after being buzzed in the front door. Do not hold the door for the person behind you to let them enter the building. Each individual visitor must buzz in and be granted entry by our secretary. Thank you for your cooperation.
