Week of January 30-February 3
GOODWILL DRIVE: Today begins our Goodwill Donation Drive! Gather your donations, bring them to the blue tote at Kean or to our local Goodwill, and our school recieves funds! Most needed items include household items, coats, sports gear/equipment, clothing, small electronics, shoes, boots, and holiday decor. Clean out your closet and help our school raise money!
YEARBOOK SALES: Yearbook sales are now live! Orders will be accepted through February 28th. Be on the lookout for order forms or order online using this link.
COATS: Please be sure to dress your child for the weather. We go outside for recess as much as possible and greatly appreciate your child being prepared with a coat, hat, and gloves on cold winter days.
POKEMON CARDS: Please do not send Pokemon cards, baseball cards, toys, stuffed animals, pop-its, etc. with your child to school. Many students have been trading/losing items that they bring to school. Please see Mrs. Montgomery with any questions regarding what is appropriate for school. (3rd and 4th-grade students may bring Pokemon cards, trading cards, etc. to school as their item to sell on Flea Market Fridays.)
BALLET EXCEL OHIO: Pre Covid, The Noble Foundation supported a visit from Ballet Excel Ohio in which students were given the opportunity to view a live Ballet performance in our very own High School Performing Arts Center. We will once again be welcoming this opportunity for our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students on February 27th. This year's performance is Hansel and Gretel. We are grateful to The NOble Foundation for their financial support of this endeavor.
FREE/REDUCED LUNCH: USDA is no longer providing free breakfast and lunch for all students. If you believe your family may qualify for Free/Reduced lunch rates please visit the website linked below to apply. A new application must be completed each school year, one per family. www.payschoolcentral.com

GENERAL STORE: The Student Lighthouse Team will be running our General Store every Tuesday morning from 8:45-8:50 AM at the Kean Playground. We have some great Kean Spirit items for sale!
SAFETY FIRST: Please be mindful of our security measures when entering and exiting the building. We have a camera and buzzer at the main entrance that we use to ensure that we are only letting parents and scheduled visitors into the building.
