The History of Our Colors
The video tells the story of revered community member Stanley Gault and the pride he had for the Wooster City Schools' Blue and Gold! It is this story that has motivated the Board of Education to commit to preserving the graphic identity of the school district and develop a brand standards guide.
Brand Standards
The intent of developing a Brand Standards Guide is to create a visual identity for the Wooster City School District. The correct use of elements including academic and athletic logos, colors and fonts are summarized below.
A full Brand Standards Guide is available. It is critical that all departments within the district, as well as outside vendors, follow this guide to ensure accurate brand representation of the WCSD.
Primary Palette
Pantone 293 C (blue) and Pantone 107 C (yellow) are the approved colors of the Wooster City School District and are key elements in supporting our brand. Similar blue and yellow shades as listed in our brand guidelines are allowed.
District Logo
Official approved logo of the Wooster City School District.
This logo should be used on all official school documents and electronic communication, such as stationary, forms, promotional materials, website, etc.
Tagline
The Wooster City School District tagline is "Inspiring World-Class Academic Achievement"
The tagline should only be used when included in the full, approved district logo shown above. The placement of the tagline in the logo should not change.
Wooster "W"
The image represents the official Wooster "W" logo.
The block W is to only be used for athletic purposes. All brand guidelines for fonts and colors apply the block W.
Wooster General
The Wooster General is to only be used for athletic purposes.
It should not be used on any official documents related to academics, clubs or activities. The block W is to only be used for athletic purposes. All brand guidelines for fonts and colors apply to the Wooster General.
