Earn Your Gault Membership

WCSD Staff - as a part of our Wellness Initiative, you are able to earn your membership to the Gault Recreation Center.

Joining the GRC gives you access to our newly updated Lift Zone that has 4 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, 3 recumbent bikes, an upright bike, and 2 rowers. There is also all new Life Fitness machines and free weights. Enjoy access to our indoor 6 lane track and 4 multi-sport courts (availability varies).

The current rate for WCSD Employees is $40 for the year. We are planning a membership drive this Winter to help you earn your membership. All you need to do is send an email with your interest to Heather Dennis ( and come to the Gault 7 times in November. Track your visits on the sign-in sheet located at Kiosk near the GRC office. 

Employees can come in during public hours, which is 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and then from 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. But we have employee hours only from 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

Basketball (Open Courts) – **NEW!!"" Come play pick-up basketball with other staff members on Tuesdays at 8:00 a.m.. For more information email Heather at

BootCamp – Full-body workout posted online - Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays (Email Heather to join the group or follow the link below). The workout is designed with a mixture of cardio and bodyweight that you can complete at home. Workout is sent around 11:00 a.m.

Heart Walk Wednesdays – **NEW!!** Walking is one of the easiest and most beneficial activities you can include in your everyday life. Heart Walk Wednesdays invites you to take a walk to get ready for the Wayne Heart Walk in September. Share your Heart Walk Wednesday as we inspire others to stay Heart Healthy year-round using #WayneHeartWalk and #gowoo.

Strength-N-Stretch – (VIEW RECORDED VIDEOS AT YOUR CONVENIENCE) Class will incorporate heart-healthy, mobility- enhancing movement with body awareness. 30 minutes of class will be focused on movement and strength training, with the final 15 minutes focused on core strength, stretching, and relaxation through easy-to-follow yoga sequences.

Yoga – (VIEW RECORDED VIDEOS AT YOUR CONVENIENCE) Bring your life into balance with Yoga! Explore how to move your body more mindfully to support your fitness goals, and breathe deeply to dissipate stress. Yoga is the perfect complement to any exercise or wellness program! Woo-Kix & Stix–(CLASS IS IN PERSON) Sherri has added a ROCKOUT WORKOUT TO HER CLASSES. Come and Release your inner Rock Star!

Class is designed using Ripstix to POUND. Designed for all fitness levels, easily modifiable to fit your level. Drumming to the rhythm of energizing music is a total body workout, tones muscles, improves focus, relieves stress and is really fun!

Zumba – (CLASS IS IN PERSON) Class only 6/2, 6/9, 6/16. No experience Necessary! Just have some fun dancing the stress away. Zumba is a total body workout, mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie burning dance fitness party. Many call Zumba "exercise in disguise" because it is so much fun, it doesn't feel like you're working out! Let those Latin and World Rhythms take you over and burn a load of calories. You will have a boost of energy and feel awesome each time you that you attend. No dance experience needed, just a desire to have fun and feel the beat!
