The Wooster City School Board appointed Bill Gantz at its March 22, 2011 meeting. Mr. Gantz replaced Denise Parker who resigned in February 2011 due to personal and professional commitments.
Bill is a lifelong resident of Wooster. He graduated from Wooster High School as did his two daughters. He has been a member of the Wooster Planning Commission and the Building and Zoning Appeals Board.
Bill has always been a taxpayer interest in education. He has previous board experience in other areas. for the majority of his professional career, he has worked on projects relating to school facilities and worked closely with a number of school boards.
Mr. Gantz works for The Ruhlin Company, a construction management company, and sits on its board of directors. At The Ruhlin Company, he is the project executive for the Akron Public Schools project and has extensive experience working with the Ohio School Facilities Commission (OSFC).
