The Wooster City School District has adopted a trimester model for reporting student progress in kindergarten through fourth grade for the 2014-2015 school year. A transition from quarters to trimesters divides our school year into three, 12 week periods.

More than 375 Wooster elementary, middle school and high school students recently participated in the Wooster/Orrville NAACP Essay Contest. Two winners from each grade level were recognized at the NAACP’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration on Jan.
The Pint Size Hero program is a community service project developed by the American Red Cross to introduce children to the importance of donating blood. The program encourages students to invite parents, guardians and other adults to give blood on their behalf.
Great job, Kean students! Our Kean families donated over 2000 non-perishable items for the Wooster Rotary sponsored People to People Food Drive. The two classes that brought in the most canned/boxed food recently delivered the donations to People to People. Awesome job everyone!
