The Ohio Dept. of Health now requires an additional  dose of Tdap or Td (Tetanus) to be administered prior to the first day of school this Fall.  Written statement of proof from the health department or your child's doctor is required. If this booster is given at the time of your child's sports physical, please ask for a separate written statement. All written statements are to be turned in to the school nurse either at the elementary where your child is in attendance or this Summer/Fall at Edgewood. This booster shot may be received by your 6th grader anytime now to avoid the summer rush in clinics and doctors' offices. Call your child's school nurse if you have questions.
