Wooster City School District Cancels March 16, 2020 Board Work Session, Announces Plans to Live Stream Upcoming Meetings

The Wooster City School District Board of Education has made the decision to cancel the board’s work session scheduled for Monday, March 16, 2020.

“The safety and wellbeing of our students, staff, board and community members is always our top priority,” said Board President, L. Sue Herman. “It is our goal to ensure that we continue to communicate with our community, especially during this critical time. This is an unprecedented event, and we will work to maintain clear lines of communications with all of our stakeholders.”

Based on Ohio Attorney General David Yost’s recommendation that during the Coronavirus pandemic, boards of education and other governmental entities may meet without admitting members of the general public.  The WCSD Board of Education will live stream their next regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, March 24, 2020. The Board will distribute directions for participation with the live stream on Wednesday, March 18, 2020.
