We are excited to share that all teachers in the Wooster City School District will have Remind available this school year! If you're not already familiar with Remind, it's a classroom communication tool that makes it easy for teachers to communicate important class information to parents via text messaging. Students who are 13 an older can create Remind account and join their teachers classes as well.
As part of this rollout, we have created one parent account per child using the primary phone and email address in our student information system. Teachers using Remind as part of their class will send home information on how you can add a 2nd parent account and also student accounts. Remind requires students to be 13 years or older to join or have parent permission if under 13.
Sometime prior to the first day of school, the primary phone/email address for each child will receive an email or text message from Remind. This message will include the steps needed to finish setting up an account. Parents who have previously used Remind for their child will be automatically enrolled.
