Kevin White Wins Northeast Regional Cross Country Meet

 

Senior Kevin White placed 1st out of 125 runners at the Northeast Regional Cross Country meet last Saturday with a time of 16:10. Kevin will run in the OHSAA State Meet on November 1 at 12:30 pm in Newark.

Transition to Trimesters for Grades K-4

 

The Wooster City School District has adopted a trimester model for reporting student progress in kindergarten through fourth grade for the 2014-2015 school year. A transition from quarters to trimesters divides our school year into three, 12 week periods.

Wooster City Schools and Wooster Police Partner to Practice Safety Drills

Oct. 16, 2014 - The Wooster City School District will partner with the Wooster Police Department to run safety drills at each of its buildings this fall. The drills will implement ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate) training, a set of proactive strategies for survival during a violent intruder event, created by the ALICE Training Institute.
