Rededication of Follis Field Set for September 5

The Wooster City School District will rededicate Follis Field before the football game against Wadsworth on September 5 at 6 p.m. The district will recognize those who generously donated to resurface the field with artificial turf.

Notice of Opportunity to Object to Student Data Release

A U.S. District Court has ordered that 2013-2014 school year records from the Ohio
Department of Education’s Educational Management Information System be turned over to Disability Rights Ohio as part of an ongoing lawsuit.

Year-Round School Research Summary

As part of The College of Wooster's eight-week Applied Mathematics and Research Experience (AMRE) program, three College of Wooster Students completed an exploratory literature review study of the multiple dimensions of year-round schooling by examining the scholarly literature on the subject and conducting interviews with various constituents within the Wooster City School District and the larger community.  Within the study, emphasis was placed on the implications of transitioning to such a calendar.

Mascotti-Rasor Receives Ralph & Grace Jones Foundation 2014 Outstanding Teacher Award

 (Aug. 22, 2014) – Christine Mascotti-Rasor, a math teacher at Wooster High School, has been named as the winner of the 15th Annual Ralph & Grace Jones Foundation Outstanding Teacher Award. This award recognizes teachers whose performance both inside and outside the classroom goes above and beyond the ordinary.

Wooster City Schools Going Paperless for Annual Forms

New for 2014-2015! All annual forms and consents are available online for parents to complete. Instead of filling out paper forms, parents and guardians will be given a login and password to a secure system for completing and signing the emergency medical form and all annual consents. Visit our secure forms site linked here: Online Forms or go to the district website and click on the Forms button. If you have not received the login and password for your child's forms please call 330-988-1111 extension 1241.
